Grading Point System

Class,

As per your syllabus, your grade is assessed as follows:

  • 25% Attendance and Participation
  • 25% Assignments and Exercises
  • 25% Mid-Term Project/Examination
  • 25% Final Project/Examination

To be clear:

  • Your attendance and participation is worth 25 points per week.
  • Perfect attendance is up to 25 points of extra credit.

Everyone who is present starts with 25 points. You can keep all of these points by being on time, abstaining from side conversations when your peers are speaking, and participating in class activities. Easy!

Each week's homework and in class assignments are worth 25 points.

Hi Marriah,I really enjoyed this weeks reading in the book "Story". It has been very insightful as a writer role to the audience. I find it humerous how Robert Mckee describes the viewers or audience as conflict driven beings that thrive off human struggle. I agree with him, i just found it funny. I am definitly getting lessons out of this reading as a soon to be film maker. Learning about the three conflicts has given me insight to how things should flow in a script and how to keep the audience captivated. I am familiar with the three act structure from story telling with Navarro, so this was kind of a refresher.
